  • The US is the 4th largest country in the world by land area and 3rd by population.
  • On July 4, 1776, the Declaration of Independence was issued, establishing the United States of America.
  • According to the 2004 Global Corruption Report, former Indonesian President Suharto was the most corrupt leader of all time, embezzling between 15 billion and 35 billion USD.
  • Indonesia has the largest ‘young’ population in the world with 165 million people under the age of 30, whereas only 8% of the population is aged over 60 years (National Bureau of Statistics, August 2001).
  •  The name Pakistan derives from two words, “Pak,” which is Persian for holy, clean or pure, and “istan” derives from the Hindi word “isthan,” which means a place.
  • Pakistan has the world’s largest contiguous irrigation system, according to the united nations Nations.
  • The Amazon River in brazil is the second longest river in the world and the world’s largest river by volume. The Amazon Jungle has the greatest biodiversity on the planet.
  • Brazil effectively shuts down for Carnival with partying day and night. It is held from the Friday to Tuesday before Ash Wednesday.
  • Nigeria is a diverse multiethnic country with more than520 spoken languages . While English is the official language, Hausa, Yoruba and Igbo are also major languages in the country.
  • While there are a number of different religions practiced in Nigeria the majority of the population is either Christian or Muslim.
